Two Short Poems about Circles

Enfleshment

With her back
against mine
the word
enlivens
sound.

The Compass

The steel
point
pierces
a center
and spreads
its legs
until the hollowness
enriches
the nothingness
of something
within the circumference
of the compass'
fleshy reach.
